Action Against Hunger / Action Contre la Faim (ACF) is an international network committed to saving the lives of malnourished children and their families while ensuring access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger. As part of the ACF International Network, the 6,000 staff work in over 40 countries carrying out innovative, life-saving programs in nutrition, food security, water and sanitation, public health, and advocacy. Their programs reach 5 million people each year -- restoring dignity, self-sufficiency, and independence to vulnerable populations throughout the world.

Loaves & Fishes provides a week's worth of nutritious groceries to individuals and families in a short-term crisis. Loaves & Fishes is a nonprofit, nondenominational organization, founded and operated by local religious congregations and community organizations. It grew out of an effort in 1975 at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church to respond to the growing hunger problem in Mecklenburg County North Carolina and continues to expand to meet that need.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles was founded on the notion of "one child, one wish" in 1983. Since that time, the organization has brightened the lives of over 6,300 children with a wide range of life-threatening medical conditions. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

In January 2010, we donated about 20% of the month's net profit to international relief organizations that have been first responders to the devastation in Haiti.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. It has been the leader in one-to-one youth service for more than a century, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors children, ages 6 through 18, in many communities, and it may be a primary contributor to steering at-risk youth to a better future. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth.
