The Phil and Teds Navigator buggy accommodates newborn to preschool age children, with a fully flat recline and weight capacity up to 77 pounds with the optional double seat kit attached. The Navigator stroller replaces the Explorer, with great improvements to what was Phil & Teds previously most successful stroller!
The Phil and Teds Navigator looks similar to the Explorer but is actually all-new. The frame is a tad more streamlined to improve overall handling -- count on one-handed steering while picking groceries, talking on the phone, or sipping your coffee. The Navigator seat is more plush, the colors more vibrant, and the fabrics more supple.
The Navigator stroller is for parents who want to buy a great single stroller for their first child that can grow with their second later, or for parents who have an older sibling with newborn on the way.
The Phil and Teds strollers are best known for the optional doubles kit. When your second child arrives, you can convert your Phil and Teds Navigator into an in-line double stroller for far less money than purchasing a new double stroller. With the reclining optional Doubles Kit on the Navigator, it's the least expensive Phil & Teds stroller with that option.
Unlike the wider side-by-side stroller, the Phil and Teds has a slim 23" wide profile for ease of maneuvering in stores and malls while pushing both children. That's an inch narrower than the previous model Explorer.
