The 2013 Indie Twin is Bumbleride's double stroller and offers the most desirable features, has great style and color choices, weighs less and folds smaller than many of its four-wheeled competitors, and is built to last for years.
For 2013, Bumbleride has not changed the Indie Twin at all, except for new fabric choices.
This double stroller offers a large, height-adjustable, wrap-around handle, which makes pushing in a natural position very easy. This means that shorter parents won't have a problem handling the stroller, and plenty of legroom also means that tall parents will be equally comfortable pushing the Indie Twin.
Pushing is what this Bumbleride stroller is designed to do well! With four air-filled, 12" tires rolling on metal alloy wheels - and with suspension built into the frame - the Indie Twin pushes better than the majority of double strollers available. With young babies, this is nice to know, but as your children grow heavier it becomes even more important to have a smooth, easy push!
Storage
For shopping or excursions in the neighborhood or farmers market, the underseat basket is very large. The extra behind-seat pockets are added conveniences for items you want within easy reach. For additional storage for keys, wallet, and cell phone, you can add the optional Parent Pack.
Seat fabric
As with all of Bumbleride's strollers, the fabric quality and colors stand out from the pack! If you're looking for a double stroller that complements your personality and isn't part of the humdrum crowd of double strollers, the Indie Twin shines.
Seat comfort and safety
The Bumbleride Indie Twin's seatbacks independently recline deeply, and each adjustable footrest can also be adjusted for a very comfortable position for the child. The seats include a 5-point safety harness with shoulder pads and an infant headrest. When fully reclined, the seats are suitable for use with newborns. For protection outdoors, the Bumbleride's twin stroller has very generous canopies with a special lining that provide SPF 45 sun protection.
Using with infant car seats
The Indie Twin stroller includes one universal-fit infant seat adapter bar that is compatible with Graco Snugride, Graco Snugride 32, Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30, Britax Chaperone, Combi Shuttle, and Baby Trend Flex Loc. Like most other side-by-side strollers, only one infant seat can be used at a time on the Bumbleride Indie Twin except for the optional Maxi Cosi Mico infant car seat adapter, which can accommodate one or two.
