The BOB Ironman jogging stroller is designed for running parents (including Iron Woman!) who need performance and comfort in a lightweight street jogger.
With a welded aluminum alloy frame, the Bob Ironman weighs just 22 pounds - one of the lighter jogging strollers available without sacrificing a sturdy frame for straight-forward tracking.
The Ironman stroller is designed for road or sidewalk running with slick tires, stiffer shocks (better performance), aluminum alloy wheels, and an aluminum axle.
Even though this is a high-performance jogging stroller for parents, just as much attention is given to the seat to keep your child comfortable for long runs. With excellent padding, a generous sun canopy, and a deep recline, the sitting area is designed for comfort.
For optimal performance, the state-of-the-art suspension has two settings you can adjust, depending upon weight of child.
Also adjustable on the BOB Ironman is front-wheel tracking. Other brands may inevitably veer slightly to the right or left, but BOB lets you make quick and minor adjustments on the BOB's front wheel so it always rolls true.
This BOB stroller model had no changes from 2008 to 2009. The stroller you receive may be manufactured in either year, and your warranty starts from the point of purchase.

The BOB Ironman jogger has an optional infant seat adapter bar, so you can use it as a travel system or for powerwalking with your infant. When not used with an infant seat, you can attach the snack tray included with the infant seat adapter bar. It can accommodate these infant car seats: Graco, Britax, and Peg Perego.
