At the heart of the durable Sprig Adventure Series is the Discover Rig – a fun, four-wheeling vehicle that can seat up to three Adventure Guide characters. The child’s push-action play powers three modes of light and sound features, bringing Adventure Guides to life and fueling imagination.
The larger Discover Rig is complemented by the Sidekick line of smaller pump-action powered vehicles, including the Rally Racer car and Baja Scout dune buggy.
Designed for the active preschool child, Sprig's vehicles and characters are molded using an innovative, durable, child-safe, bio-composite material made from recycled wood and reclaimed plastics. The company calls this Sprigwood, and it's manufactured in North America.
The playful, cartoon-like designs of these chunky Sprig vehicles make them irresistible to preschoolers, and parents love the eco-friendly, battery-free, kid-powered construction.
Eco-friendly and kid-powered are the key words with this toy. If kids want to enjoy the lights and sounds, they have to keep it moving! The Discover Rig can store a charge for about 30 seconds, to keep the sounds steady during play. Few toy cars encourage physical activity like this one.
Included in the Discover Rig box is world-famous Adventure Guide Cap Faraday! He invites your child to be the driver on a trek through the African Serengeti. Keep ears and eyes open because on this Secret Safari adventure, there’s a silly animal around every bend, and your child is in for a wild, fun time!
There are three play modes on the Discover Rig:
- Search (lights only)
- Rally (lights and motor sounds)
- Adventure (lights, motor, dialog, sound effects and songs)
