The Skuut (rhymes with "toot") is a wooden balance bike for boys and girls who are 2 - 5 years of age.

With no pedals and no training wheels, children kick off the ground as if running, thus pushing themselves and the bike forward. The Skuut is perfect for learning balance, steering, and coordination. This makes for a very easy transition to a traditional two wheeler bike.

How fun is it? Check out the video of kids riding the Skuut!

At first, children walk the bike forward and explore it. As they quickly get more comfortable, they take bigger strides with their feet off the ground for longer periods of time. Eventually, children will master the Skuut enough to lift both feet off the ground and coast - with big grins unable to hide their pride!

Just like big bicycles, the Skuut has a smooth ride with real air-filled, rubber tires. The wheels are solid, rather than with spokes, to eliminate the risk of any caught clothing, fingers, or feet.

To accommodate different heights, the Skuut's seat can be raised and lowered between 13.5" to 16.5".

Easy assembly! The Skuut comes fully assembled except for the handlebars and front wheel. Instructions are included in the box, and all you need is a screwdriver.

When assembled, the Skuut weighs just over 10 pounds... easy to lift in the car and take to the park!
