With newborns, the Active Carrier snuggles the baby against your body and facing toward you. The adjustable head support fabric cradles the infant's head and neck for stability.

After a baby has sufficient neck and head control (usually 5 to 6 months), the child can face foward to see the world while remaining secured and cuddled against your body.

Among what is most appealing about the Baby Bjorn Active Carrier is how easy it is to use as you go about your day. Once you have it adjusted "just right", the color-coded connections make it easy to take on and off, with little need for on-going adjustments after each use.

If your baby falls asleep while in the carrier, the Baby Bjorn Active Carrier lets you gently lower and lay down the baby by unsnapping the front panel.
