At only 20 pounds, the Bumbleride Indie is the lightest in its class. Its light weight, coupled with its compact fold, makes the Indie much easier to handle when folded. The Bumbleride Indie baby stroller is also one of the more stylish all-terrain strollers available.
The Indie stroller is an excellent choice for parents who want a comfortable, smooth ride on a variety of surfaces (grass, gravel, dirt, uneven sidewalks, snow). The option to lock the front wheel in the straight position also suits the Bumbleride Indie for light exercising or powerwalking.
The Bumbleride Indie stands out in its class in a few areas worth considering:
- At 20 pounds, it's the lightest all-terrain stroller available. When folded, the Indie is easily carried and lifted. Most other all-terrains are 5 to 10 pounds heavier.
- The tall, rounded sun canopy on the Indie provides excellent protection, even with the sun lower in the sky.
- The Bumbleride Indie's true seat-back (not a "sling" approach as with most all-terrains) reclines with an easy relining mechanism. With a simple pull of a lever, the seatback lowers or rises and locks solidly into place.
For longer walks, shopping, or a day at the park, the Bumbleride Indie has a cupholder, large under-seat basket, and additional closing pocket on the back of the canopy for cellphone, keys, and wallet.
The Bumbleride Indie stroller includes an insulated foot boot that zips securely onto the stroller, creating a safe, cozy place for your newborn and young infant when fully reclined.
Like all true all-terrain strollers, the Bumbleride Indie has real rubber tires with air-filled tubes (just like a bicycle), which makes pushing easier and the ride smoother. With the Indie, Bumbleride introduced a slimmer profile tire for better handling.
