When you buy your Baby Jogger City Select stroller, it includes one seat for the upper mount on the stroller frame. To use your stroller with a second child, you need the front mounting kit that is included with the Second Seat Kit.

When you buy the Second Seat Kit for the City Select, you can use your stroller nearly any combination configurations for two children carried in bassinet, adapter, seat. Once you purchase this second seat kit for the City Select, you can use the front mount for a seat, adapter, or bassinet.

The Baby Jogger Second Seat Kit has a seat that is identical in size and function as the stroller's main seat. Some parents may choose to mix and match seat colors, or pick the same color.

Improved for 2011/2012
The latest City Select Second Seat Kit has a few enhancements:

The seat has better padding for your child's comfort.
The seat itself has been deepened by one inch.
The seat now also offers more support rather than the original hammock-style seating.

The Second Seat Kit and its front mounts add approximately six pounds to the stroller weight, for a total stroller weight with two seats of approximately 34 pounds.

The stroller can be folded with both seats mounted.

This Second Seat Kit can be used with all City Select stroller year models.
