The premium UPPAbaby Vista (2009) stroller includes almost everything you may need: color-matching bassinet, weather shield, and bug/sun screen.
New and improved for 2009 includes an extendable sun visor that provides much better coverage over 2008 model, a small wallet/phone/key pocket on back of seat, new colors, a zippered sun screen that attaches to the canopy (earlier models had a sun screen that mounted with an elastic band), and more use of stainless steel components for better long-term wear. Additionally, the wonderful bassinet now has an un-dyed, organic soft cotton/soy lining on the interior (earlier models have had a rich microsuede lining).
Like the prior year, the 2009 UPPAbaby Vista includes the Urban rear wheel set that gives an overall stroller width of 24.5 inches. Also, offered as a separate purchase are wider "All Terrain Sport" rear wheels that are great for snow, sand, and gravel. With the UPPAbaby Vista's quick-release tab, it's easy to change each wheel in seconds. Regardless of which wheel type you're using, overall handling remains exceptional.
The 2009 UPPAbaby Vista has a cupholder mount on the frame for the UPPAbaby Cupholder (sold separately).
The UPPAbaby Vista stroller features are designed for daily use, all making this stroller a solid package.
- Bassinet and reversible seat are easy to attach on the frame-- two clicks made within a few seconds, and done!
- Powerwalkers and tall parents will appreciate the excellent legroom for taking a natural stride. The rear brake is controlled with a single little foot pedal.
- Durable, high-end fabric line the reversible seat for your child's comfort, and can be removed and washed. Three seat positions (upright, semi-recline, and deep recline) are easily adjusted from the pushing position. An adjustable footrest helps provide the most natural fit for your child.
- The easily adjusted handle telescopes upward and outward to bring shorter parents closer to the stroller and taller parents a bit farther away (increase legroom).
- Rubber tires on foam cores simulate the great performance of real tires on all sorts of terrain, but never go flat.
- Four-wheel shock absorbers help smooth out the ride.
- Easy folding mechanism quickly collapses the stroller (with the seat attached) into a compact, self-standing position.
- Very large storage basket on the UPPAbaby Vista is one of the largest in its class, with two convenient pockets for wallet / keys / cellphone and a water bottle.
- The included bassinet is the nicest we've seen on a stroller! It's safe to use up to 20 pounds. The 2009 UPPAbaby Vista bassinet/pram is lined with soft organic cotton/soy fabric, has a carrying handle and includes an apron and sun/bug shield.
