FREQUENT QUESTIONS ABOUT THE UPPABABY VISTA STROLLER
How do you fold the UPPAbaby Vista?
In 2015, the Vista was improved to have a much simpler, easier fold. There is a finger trigger on each side of the handlebar to unlock the frame hinge. Just pull the finger triggers together, and the Vista collapses down in one step.
Where do you get replacement parts for the Vista stroller?
For replacements parts on your UPPAbaby stroller, you'll need to contact UPPAbaby directly.
Does the 2015 Rumbleseat work on older Vista stroller models?
Unfortunately, the 2015 UPPA Baby Rumbleseat will only work on the newest Vista model because the entire stroller was redesigned.
Does the Peg Perego 4-35 infant car seat work on the UPPAbaby Vista?
At this time, the Peg Perego 4/35 seat is not compatible with the Vista.
Is the UPPAbaby Vista worth the money?
Any purchase approaching a thousand dollars definitely deserves a little thinking. Here are some considerations on deciding if the Vista is right for you and your budget:
- The bassinet is approved for overnight use indoors, so you won't need to purchase a separate one.
- The Vista is excellent as a single stroller for your first child, and it transforms to a good double stroller as well for the second child. This means a one-time stroller purchase for years.
- On Craigslist and eBay, you can find two or three year old used Vista strollers selling for half their original purchase price. If you keep your Vista in good shape, you'll be able to get hundreds back when you're done with it.
- The Vista comes with a 30-month warranty from UPPAbaby. If something is defective or goes wrong, you're covered. Less expensive strollers may only have a 90-day or 1-year warranty. If they break after the short warranty period ends, you need to buy another stroller.
Is the Vista good for jogging?
Though the Vista stroller would be a great friend for powerwalking, it is not recommended for jogging.
Does the 2014 UPPAbaby Mesa fit the 2015 Vista stroller?
Yes, all Mesa model years fit all Vista model years.

My Daughter Loves It

Bought for my daughter for her soon to arrive baby. It's just what she wanted and seems like a very well made product.
Vista 2015:The Squires' Perfect Stroller
Posted by French Quarter Momma of 3(almost)!! on 16th Jan 2015
Hello! I will be reviewing the brand new 2015 model of the Uppababy Vista Convertible Stroller. It seems that I am one of the first people to own and use this product, and I have been beyond pleased with our purchase thus so far. For starters, I am an (almost) 3x mommy living in a fairly urban area, with my husband and children. I have two fun-loving, bright little boys. My oldest is 7yrs and my current youngest is just about 8mos. We are also 6mos pregnant with our third (sex unknown! Team Green!!) and due in March '15! This was my first "convertible" stroller, and is meant to be used as a single with the main seat or the car seat adaptor, until our new little one arrives. At that point, we will try out the icluded bassinet. I've only used Graco travel systems in the past, so the idea of a single to double, high-end stroller that can be manipulated into various positions was new to me. I live in the French Quarter of New Orleans, so our sidewalks & doorways are old and narrow. While I would say this stroller has a wider wheel base than most, I wouldn't say its a deal breaker. Sure it can be difficult for my 4'10" pregnant self to wrangle the frame and easily detached seat into the back of our SUV, but If it can be utilized effectively in my car & neighborhood, I highly suspect the vast majority of people could use it comfortably as well.
One negative (but again, not a deal breaker) was the fact that so many of the main accessories (parent tray, snack tray, structured cup holder, etc.) needed to be purchased separately; however, I can also see how this is in keeping with Uppababy's minimalist design. As I noted before, this was my first convertible stroller, so upon arrival it became obvious that I wasn't totally aware of how the whole car seat adaptor + bracket system worked. I thought the adaptor was kept on the stroller along with the main seat, but that's not the case. It's one or the other, UNLESS you purchase the extra lower brackets. I had purchased the upper brackets to create more space for when I convert to a double (they haven't shipped yet though), but now I know, you can only switch between the CS adaptor and the main seat in the top position and the main seat cannot be used in the lower position at all w/out the lower brackets.
To go along with the one negative should be one big positive and for us, that would be the addition of stadium style seating (when converted to a double) which represents a change in the Uppababy Vista design from the previous models of years past. This was a must have feature and prior to my discovery of this on the Uppababy vista 2015, I was set on purchasing the Baby Jogger City Select convertible, I'm really glad I did more research though and discovered that this one encompasses both the lightness of other convertibles, but the stadium seating of the City Select. Based on our personal needs, I definitely made the right choice out of the two!!
Overall, my husband and I are happy with our purchase and feel it was well worth the price and the wait for the 2015 version. I LOVE the new closing mechanism, since I couldn't get the old version to work in the store if my life depended on it. My 7mo seems very comfortable, esp when we use the mutiple recline positions and I look forward to using the bassinet when our newest little arrives in March '15. The steering is excellent and popping curbs is a breeze, at least as a single. The HUGE basket is a lifesaver and I'd highly recommend purchasing the additional parent organizer and cup holder. I appreciate Uppababy's dedication to making such a high quality product, as I can confidently say I am one of their many happy customers. Thank you for reading my novel of a review.

Amazing stroller worth every penny

This stroller really out does every other stroller out there. We were set on getting the Cruz but I'm so glad we changed our mind and splurged on the Vista. It's beautiful, easy to steer and set up. It's perfect for our Brooklyn apartment because it is very easy to store in the closet after folding it up. It was shipped in 2 days which just makes the purchase even better. So far this is my favorite item I've purchased for our baby.
Great ! Fast ! Good price!

Love this stroller!

I absolutely love this stroller! This is the second Uppababy Vista that I have purchased. I purchased the first one in 2010 for my daughter, and purchased this one for my daughter-in-law. The improvements in the new version are fantastic making the stroller easier to fold and maneuver. This stroller now can accommodate two toddler seats that are the same size which was not the case before plus various other configurations. The bassinet is also deeper. I realize it is a little pricey but considering all that you get I think it is well worth it. I had to preorder this stroller in October for a December delivery - the wait was well worth it - so glad we waited, even though, my granddaughter was born in October.
Love my UPPAbaby

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stroller so far. I only wish I had bought it right at the start instead of waiting until she was 4 months old so I could have got some use out of the bassinet. I love the look of this stroller - sleek and clean and it handles like a dream on the city streets as well as on grass and dirt in the park. Nice big basket to carry back all my purchases after a day out as well as whatever I need for the day.

We are really happy with this stroller. We live in the city and we do not own a car. So far it performed really well on public transport. The bottom storage is amazing for shopping!

This stroller is perfect. I love how it can be used from newborn all the way into their toddler years and room for expanding a second child.
Love my stroller!

My husband and I decided to splurged with our last baby. The Uppababy Vista stroller has been a great buy for our growing family. We've been able to use it for short and long walks. It is extremely smooth and easy to maneuver. One handed steering is so nice! Our four year old daughter is getting a lot of use of the piggy back. The storage basket is a good size. My husband loves how easy it can be pushed with both girls riding on it. I am looking forward to using our stroller as our daughter grows.
good price with fast shipping

This is a great stroller. Easy to steer. Takes your baby from newborn to toddler stage. Tons of storage in basket under stroller. Easy to set up for most part - only exception is the ease of which you can adjust the height of the straps on the shoulder.
3 years.... 2 kids.... Still great!

We bought the vista over 3 years ago for our first and have loved it ever since! We had to used a double stroller for a while but our oldest is now willing to ride on the piggy back so we're excited to use this as our main stroller again. It's so easy to maneuver and comfy for the kids. The basket is huge, I don't think there is a stroller out there with a bigger one. You definitely get what you pay for with the vista.
the best stroller thats all i can say

Love this stroller. Its great for long walks and baby sleeps comfortably in both bassinet and the reclining seat. Great buy!
Sure to last some generations!

My husband and I decided to go for the all black frame,Jake. We love the classic, clean look of it. The main thing we fell in love with was the huge basket! Most of all,we love how the toddler seat can recline in so many positions. The stroller may be heavy when picked up and stored away in the car (we have a van and we have to stand it straight up). But,the steering and maneuvering on this is smooooth! The peek-a-boo window is huge,it's almost like a tent for the baby! Love the canopy for the extra UV ray protection. LOVE how this system already comes with the mosquito net and rain shield! I have not used the bassinet yet as my baby is now almost 9 months old. I'm excited to put it to use once baby #2 arrives! This stroller makes shopping so much more easier! I pretty much use it as a mule! I'm more than sure that this stroller will last years upon years. It has a classic look and it grows with your family!
Fine Craftsmanship, Great Looks

It's a stylish and durable stroller. The attachments work well. It took a little bit to figure out the tires as one wouldn't touch down enough to get a grip. I'm happy with it for strolls around the block, taking it to doctor's appt, and the grocery store.
The downside is that it is heavy and bulky, but I suppose that's the point of an umbrella stroller. I'm trying to keep stuff to a minimum so I'm resisting buying the pop-up, umbrella stroller.
Overall, I'm happy with the quality of the materials and construction. I love the slate blue for my son, and I used the bassinet for the first several months as his bed.
Sturdy and Smooth

We've been using this stroller for about three weeks now and we're very happy with it. We didn't use the bassinet much and skipped to the toddler seat because our 3 month old likes to look around while in the stroller. Only disadvantage I've noticed so far is that when you lay the seat "flat" the middle section of the seat is stationary and stays at a what seems to be close to a 90 degree angle, so my baby's legs are basically sticking up in the air rather than being flat. This means that when seat is reclined all the way baby is kind of in an upside down position - head below legs . I assume this would be less of a problem the bigger the child gets...and I assume this is why the stroller is sold with a bassinet!
Stroller feels very light and easy to push. When it's folded though and you're trying to store or move it, it's pretty heavy and bulky. If you have somewhere to store it without having to fold it up and put it away each time, weight or bulkiness not an issue at all.
Other than that I wanted to comment on the piggy back which we purchased with the stroller for our toddler. She loves it and it seems to glide behind the stroller very smoothly. However, once it's installed it's sort of hard to get to the break with your foot. Also, the stroller's top handle needs to be pulled all the way out to allow my toddler to step inside of it....which means her head is right by the rectangular button which you use to pull the handle in and out and sometimes she bumps her head to it. Doesn't seem to bother her though and all in all we're getting a lot of great use out of the piggy back. Great stroller for baby and piggy bag is a great add on for long walks with toddler.

got my vista stroller about one month ago and already LOVING it! First off, PeppyParents had it delivered so fast we were shocked! We ordered in the tangerine color which the website did a good color match. I was between the bugaboo bee and vista but SO happy we went with the vista. My friend has the bee and we went for several walks in the city and i must say the vista holds up so much better. Her Bee looks a little flimsy next to the vista and seems to not absorb shock as well! My only complaint is that its a little heavy to take in/ out of a city home and difficcult to fold( though much easier than previous models) All in all its still worth it!! One happy mother:) thank you Peppy Parents
